How to spot a fake NOx Sensor

We all know how the replica and fake markets are growing by the day and how everyday people are deceived by cheap, counterfeit products.




The most distinguishable differences are :

Packaging:

The original box does not have the logo printed on whereas the fake one does. There is a difference in the Neoplan logo design and the barcode.


 

Plastic wrapping:

The original has a printed mark on. The fake does not.


The original packaging contains moisture packets, the fake does not.



Labeling/cable inputs:





Keep these points in mind while buying any NOx sensor so that you don't end up being fooled by some scammer selling fake ones.

 

The easiest way to prevent the purchase of a reproduction or phony sensors is to buy from a reputable and trusted seller. There are plenty of reputable retailers, but it never hurts to do your homework to ensure that you get a genuine product.
